I have been fishing for more than 60 years, starting on my grandparents' farm ponds in in southeast Kansas (west of here about 100 miles).

After a decade of successfully fishing tournaments throughout the western and central divisions, I retired from competitive fishing in 2001. During that period I fished local, state and invitational tournaments, Buddy (partner) tournaments, Cops for Kids, Make A Wish and CAST for kids charity events. Since moving to Missouri with my wife, Susan, I have devoted my time and experience to guiding, enjoying family, grandchildren and fun fishing with my wife and friends.
